AmeriCheer Gives Back
Dedicated to improving the lives of youth, AmeriCheer supports Columbus and the surrounding communities through involvement in kid-friendly philanthropies including Adventures for Wish Kid and The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
AmeriCheer supports the Adventures for Wish Kids Program through the "A Merry Cheer Clinic.” Held at the AmeriCheer training center in Westerville, Ohio, all participants learn fun new cheers, chants and a dance routine. Proceeds from the “A Merry Cheer Clinic” are donated to Adventures for Wish Kids. Adventures for Wish Kids is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing fun-filled and supportive group activities for children with life-threatening illnesses and for their families.
AmeriCheer has donated over $20,000 to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. This money is raised at AmeriCheer summer camps, wherein a portion of each participant's summer camp tuition is donated to cancer research. A special "cheers" to everyone who attends an AmeriCheer summer camp. With your help, we are able to raise money for this important cause and help make a difference in people's lives!
The Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University is the only freestanding cancer hospital in the Midwest. Today, it is one of just 39 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation. Dedicated to saving lives through the prevention and treatment of cancer, specialists in every form of oncology work together toward reaching the ultimate goal: finding a cure. This year, the James was again rated as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” by U.S. News & World Report.
